$70.3M in public school maintenance projects approved

More than $70.3 million in school maintenance projects, solid waste services have been signed and delivered to the Guam Department of Education.
Governor Lou Leon Guerrero has taken action on four critical contracts needed for school refurbishment and repairs and solid waste services.
It includes refurbishment of the Kattan, Lagu and Luchan regions. It also covers solid waste collection, removal and disposal services.
The contracts are funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.
Additionally, the Governor approved various contracts for the Department of Public Health and social for programs that support senior citizens, early childhood education, cancer patients, and EBT services.
