So that Guamanians would be more safe either in a controlled pool or out on the open ocean, the summer session of the Drown-Free Guahan Initiative will be held this Friday and Saturday at PIC in Tumon from 8-10am. The project is run by Amphibious Aquatics and teaches water safety awareness and water confidence, along with basic floating drills and techniques on how to remain calm.

The non-profit organization is training kids ages 5-17 as well as adults how to minimize the risks of drowning.

Registration is available online at www.amphibiousguam.com.
