A woman told police she was forced into a car and shot at during an attempted robbery on Independence Day.

It was a frightening 4th of July holiday for the victim as she was walking in Dededo Thursday afternoon.

Police reports show the victim was walking along Mepa Street near John B. Mart when the suspect pulled up next to her in a maroon car.

One suspect forced the victim into the car telling her to get in or she would get “whacked.”

The suspect allegedly demanded for the victim’s belongings and cash before attempting to punch her.

That’s when she asked the second suspect in the car for his handgun.

The investigation showing the first suspect  allegedly pulled the trigger but the bullet did not hit the victim.

The victim then jumped out of the moving car, while the pair sped off towards Artero Drive.

Police confirmed over the weekend no arrests have been made in connection to the case.

Authorities have yet to provide any details about the suspects.
