The vetoed bill that would have required a new hospital be built in Tamuning is up for discussion during this month’s session.

Senators included a total of ten measures vetoed by the Governor on their agenda.

This includes Bill 185 which would mandate any new hospital constructed under the Guam 21st Century Healthcare Act of 2021 be built in Tamuning.

The administration has repeatedly turned down proposals to build a new medical complex in Tamuning and instead pushed for one in Eda Agaga in the Barrigada-Mangilao area.

Session is set to begin next Monday, June 24 at 9 a.m.

The agenda can be viewed below.
