Delegate James Moylan to seek re-election

Incumbent Delegate James Moylan officially announced today that he is seeking re-election.
Moylan picked up a packet at the Guam Election Commission (GEC) this morning.
Moylan listed all he’s done in office so far, stating, “It’s been an honor to serve our community in the capacity of their representative in Congress, and immediately from the start we made sure to prioritize Guam in every capacity possible.”
“One of the first tasks we undertook at the start was to bring back respect and dignity to Guam’s image in Congress. This included being active, engaged, and visible within committees and caucuses while building relationships on both sides of the aisle. This resulted in three Congressional Delegation (CODELS) visits to Guam in 2023, including a historic Field Hearing. This also helped with the successes Guam experienced in the recent NDAA. We have also strengthened relationships with local government and military leaders, inclusive of the Governor and her cabinet, as these are vital for effective representation and for bringing a consistent message to Washington D.C. I am running for re-election, because our work has only begun,” added Delegate Moylan
So far, he is the only candidate running under the republican ticket.
Senator Amanda Shelton, former Congressman Mike San Nicolas, and Ginger Cruz are running for the office in the democratic race.
