Emergency alert sirens test scheduled for Tuesday 3:15 p.m.

The offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense are conducting a test for the all Hazards Alert Warning System tomorrow starting at 3:15 p.m.
This is separate from the pre-scheduled monthly tests.
This test is to assess operations, identify any operational issues and to determine any additional repairs needed.
As we reported, after receiving severe damage from Typhoon Mawar, just 4 out of 21 emergency alert sirens were fully operational.
A prior test scheduled on Dec. 5 was postponed due to an unspecified issue Guam Homeland was working on with its vendor.
Tomorrow, you can expect to hear a pre-scripted voice messaging announcing the start and end of the test, and 60 seconds of the “alert” siren tone.
