After an extensive interview process, three finalists were selected from a total of 31 applicants for the position of University of Guam president.

The UOG presidential search committee announced the finalists are Anita Borja Enriquez, Mary Okada, and Legene Quesenberry.

PSC chairperson Agapito Diaz says that each candidate has a wide range of experiences and expertise adding they are excited with what they each potentially have to offer towards the continued progress and growth of the university.

Borja-Enriquez is currently senior vice president for Academic and Student Affairs at UOG, Okada is at the helm of Guam Community College as president, and Quesenberry is a juris doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law and is an attorney and consultant.

Over the next few weeks, finalists will meet with UOG students, faculty, administrators, and the board of regents.

President Tomas W. Krise is set to retire on Aug. 5.
