Guam Visitors Bureau re-establishes ties with Kashiwa City
The Guam Visitors Bureau re-established ties with Kashiwa City in the Chiba prefecture of Japan as part of its ongoing tourism recovery efforts. A GVB delegation led by president & CEO Carl Gutierrez attended the Kashiwa De International Exchange Festa this week.
Mayors Council of Guam executive Angel Sablan, Inalåhan mayor Anthony Chargualaf, Mongmong-Toto-Maite mayor Rudy Paco, and several others attended with the event promoting international exchange with students from across the globe.
GVB's Guam Chamorro Dance Academy featured more than 20 dancers.
The bureau also reporting that 109 Japanese TikTok'ers are on island for the next several days to feature their experiences of Guam.
