Back before a federal judge, 47-year-old Raymond "Boya" Martinez and 38-year-old Juanita Moser Martinez denied they had anything to do with an alleged jury tampering scheme uncovered during their drug trial held in Guam four years ago. Investigators say several people including a retired cop were involved - persuading a juror in the drug trial to vote not guilty.

The couple appeared before District Court of Guam Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood today.  Through their defense attorneys, the pair pleaded not guilty to obstructing justice by endeavoring to influence a juror.

They have since served time in federal prison after being sentenced in California for the drug case. The case involved eight pounds of methamphetamine.

Both are now back in Guam and were allowed to walk free until the case is back in court.

Jury selection and trial are set for Dec. 20.
