The search for a mascot for the Guam Community College has been expanded and extended. The contest was previously open to only students, alumni, faculty and staff of GCC, however, due numerous requests, GCC has decided to open the contest to all Guam residents and extend the submission date.

The new submission deadline is Friday, June 24, 2022.

 According to a press release, the mascot must unify and embody the GCC school spirit and will serve as a public symbol of GCC’s continuing effort to equip students with the skills to achieve life and career goals. The mascot will be aligned with GCC’s current brand, helping define and identify our institution for both internal and external communities. It has been more than three decades since GCC's mascot was 'tradesmen.'
