Timothy Rains allegedly shoved officer during arrest

Timothy Joseph Chargualaf Rains, 33, has been arrested and charged with assault on a peace officer as a third-degree felony, and resisting arrest as a misdemeanor.
Guam Police Department officers pulled over a vehicle for expired registration on Thursday evening. The passenger was identified as Rains, who had four active warrants, one of them with a criminal charge.
According to a magistrate's complaint, police told Rains that he was under arrest. Instead of facing the car, he shoved the officer with his hand, causing her almost to fall, and ran off.
About 10 minutes later, officers located Rains hiding in the bushes. He refused to cooperate and laid on his hands to prevent himself being handcuffed.
It appears that Rains is on pretrial release under house arrest in a 2019 case.
