The Guam Department of Education is hosting community input sessions in the course of four days, beginning tomorrow. The first three sessions are scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday from 4 to 5 p.m., which will be for school leadership teams, nurses, teachers, faculty and staff members.
The fourth session is for parents and stakeholders and is set to take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday via Zoom.
GDOE Interim Public Information Officer Michelle Franquez said, "What we really want to do is make sure that we hear our GDOE site employees, and then of course reach out to the public with what they do need to know in regards to the COVID-19 health update with our school sites."
"So as we continue on, it's just to make sure that parents, and guardians have the opportunity to listen to our education leaders explain how the procedures are done. And then of course making sure that we have an understanding in regards to how we are making sure that we continue to keep our students safe at our schools."
