Guam will likely see near-normal tropical cyclone activity for the rest of the year and that could mean a storm or two and even a typhoon.

That's according to National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration which and the National Weather Service Weather Forecast,  Guam Office, which explained that normal activity would be
consistent with El Niño Southern Oscillation-neutral conditions. Because of the large extent of the Micronesian region, the tropical cyclone activity will vary considerably east to west and north to south. Later-season activity will depend on the late season status of ENSO.

According to the weather service, Guam could see two to three tropical storms this year and two to three typhoons, with one or two considered major typhoons.
