Paint Guam's native plants at Art at the Refuge

National Park Service in collaboration with the Pacific National Historical Park and U.S. Fish Wildlife Service will host Art at the Refuge.

Celebrate Earth month by taking part in a painting session from 10 a.m. to noon,  April 24 at the Guam National Wildlife Refuge at Ritidian.
"It's going to be a guided painting session featuring our artist in residence, Fawn Mendiola, and yeah, it's just gonna be a really fun day to, you know, be out in the outdoors and get that fresh air, get that inspiration from the outdoors, and also from our artists to help us paint up a scene that's going to feature Guam's native plants and animals," Park Ranger and Art in the Park Coordinator Kina Lewis said.

You don't have to be Picasso to participate since beginners are encouraged to attend. All art supplies will be provided, and participants will be able to take home their end project.
The event is completely free and open to ages 13 and older, however, pre-registration is required as participation is limited to 20 people. All health and safety protocols will be observed. Deadline to register is April 22. For more information, contact Kina Lewis at 671-788-9722 or 671-333-4051.
