UOG will level up with 5-year plan

A formal launch of University of Guam's Para Hulo' Strategic Plan 2019-2024 was held this morning.
"Para Hulo'" is CHamoru for the university's Latin motto, "excelsior," or "ever upward."
The five-year plan will prepare the university for its next accreditation site visit in 2024 from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission. UOG President Dr. Thomas Krise.
"The next five years we really want to build upon that, we want to be recognized as a higher level university, a research university, we want to be recognized as a partnership university," he announced. "And we're working on all the foundational elements, student experience- enriching student experience, and infrastructure, diversifying our financial resources and partnering with public and private entities across Micronesia."
