Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 will conduct training from 11 a.m. to 11:55 p.m. Aug. 12-15, at the Dandan-Malojloj training site in Inarajan, according to a release from Joint Region Marianas. 

HSC-25 will also conduct training at Radio Barrigada during the following dates and times:

-       From 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Aug. 12-13
-       From 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Aug. 13-14
-       From 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Aug. 15-16

The routine helicopter training is often accompanied with the use of blanks during the training. The public is advised to not be alarmed if they hear and see increased activity, according to JRM.


Also, the U.S. Air Force will conduct training from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 12-16, at the island of Farallon de Medinilla. 

The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be within a 12-nautical-mile radius of the island, located in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

The U.S. Navy will conduct open-ocean exercises within a 10-nautical-mile radius of the following coordinates: 13°26''N/145°08''E and 13°42''N/144°36''E during the following dates and times:

-       From 3-7 p.m. Aug. 13
-       From 6:30-11:55 p.m. Aug. 14
-       From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 15

It is recommended the general public, fishermen, and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.
