Today's much-anticipated FIFA World Cup 2022 preliminary qualification Round 1 game was played at the GFA National Training Center in Harmon, and it was the Guam Men's National Soccer Team (The Matao) claiming victory over Bhutan with a final score of 5-0.

It was Isiah Lagutang who gave the Matao the 1-0 lead after scoring the first goal of the contest

Jason Cunliffe put the Matao up 2-0 minutes later, while Shane Malcolm and landed the third. Cunliffe would add the final two goals .The match is part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Round one Preliminary Joint Qualifier. 

Previously the Matao lost to Bhutan 1-0 in their match held in Bhutan.
