Twenty years in prison--that's the fate of a man accused of inappropriately touching a 4-year-old girl.
Danilo Santos Morales is sentenced to spend the next two decades in local prison. He was convicted of first degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct in November 2018.
The Attorney General's office says this sends a clear message that sexual abuse is not tolerated and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
"Unfortunately, sexual assault happens more often than not to vulnerable children who may not realize the conduct is wrong and cannot protect themselves," Assistant Attorney General Christine Tenorio said. "It is the duty of the Office of the Attorney General of Guam to seek justice for these innocent children and protect them from further harm."
