The public comment period is drawing to a close for the Draft 2018 Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan and environmental assessment.
The Navy is updating the current 2013 INRMP to "ensure the military in the region continues to meet its mission while protecting the health of natural resources".
The draft proposes new projects to safeguard the environment.
A comment can be made online by Thursday.
Those interested in learning about the Navy's plans to protect and safeguard natural resources in Guam and the CNMI are encouraged to visit the website at http://www.jrminrmp.com and download a copy of the document, or view a hard copy at the Nieves Flores Memorial Library in Hagatna and the Dededo Library.
