More bills were moved to the Voting File as lawmakers wrapped session for the week on Friday. Among the bills placed include Bill 152, which appropriates $400,000 from the Hotel Occupancy Tax Surplus Fund to the Guam Football Association to host, attend and participate in the FIFA 2018 World Cup and AFC Asian Cup 2019 preliminary qualification matches.
The bill was introduced after the success of Guam's National Soccer Team, The Matao.
Bill 152 joins a handful of other measures waiting to be voted on, including Bill 175 adopting the rules and regulations for the commercial leasing for the Chamorro Land Trust Commission.
