DOCOMO customers can text to donate typhoon aide

Starting Monday DOCOMO Pacific customers will launch its "Text To Donate" campaign. By texting the word HELP (2664) or CNMI - whether on a prepaid or postpaid account - donors will be giving $1 per text to assist victims of Typhoon Soudelor. The money will go to the CNMI American Red Cross Chapter.

The fundraising program will run through September 4. DOCOMO Pacific CEO Jonathan Kriegel says the campaign provides a convenient and instant means of showing support to those in need during times like these.
