by Dave Delgado Guam - The Academy of Our Lady of Guam held their 13th Annual 5K "Fund" Run/Walk in front of the school's campus in Hagatna over the weekend. Proceeds from the event will go towards scholarships and tuition assistance. The run celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Golden Jubilarian Class of 1965 as well as continued the school's celebration of its 65th Anniversary. The 5K started with a warm up followed by a "Moment of Silence" in memory of the alumnae who have gone before us, then the traditional "Passing of the Torch" from the Class of 1964 to the Class of 1965. The course took runners run through the streets of Hagatna's historical trail and finished back at the school's campus. Medals and certificates were given out the top finishers in each division.
