Guam - Tooth decay affects children more than any other chronic infectious disease.

To combat that, MBI Distributors welcomes back Colgate's oral health education initiative "Bright Smiles, Bright Futures."

MBI with the help of Matson, distributed 15,000 tubes of toothpaste and toothbrushes and 850 teacher kits to DOE students headstart through 5th grade.

"Kids are coming home. They're telling their parents come on you gotta brush your teeth we're supposed to take care of our teeth. We have beautiful kids here. And they need and should have beautiful smiles," said vice president Mike Brown.

The initiative teaches kids to brush at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and to visit the dentist regularly.
