Guam - It's more record breaking visitor numbers as the Guam Visitors Bureau releases preliminary arrivals for the month of December.

For December 1 through 26, the island welcomed 91,800 visitors, that's 0.2% growth when compared to the same period last year.

GVB notes Russia arrivals are up over 230%, China up by 26.5%, Australia up 23.5% and the Philippines up by 9%.

We should note, despite a decline in Japanese arrivals, Korea continues to buffer that decrease with a 15.4% gain.

Overall, calendar year-to-date arrivals show a 2% increase when compared to 2012 which translates to close to 26,000 more visitors.
