Guam - Tropical Depression 26W is now Tropical Storm Francisco. A Tropical Storm Watch remain in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan as tropical storm conditions including damaging sustained winds of 40 miles per hour or more are still possible in the next 24-48 hours.

Tropical Storm Francisco is now 175 miles to the southwest of Guam and is moving southwest at 10mph. It is expected to slow down and turn toward the west today and then turn toward the north-northwest this evening. It could strengthen and become a typhoon on Friday.

As of 2:45am Guam remains in Condition of Readiness 3 and schools and the government remain open today.
