Guam - Former Department of Corrections officer Eric Tedtaotao is scheduled to appear in court this week for a motions hearing. Tedtaotao who has been detained since Febuary is asking to be released to a third party custodian with conditions and electronic monitoring.  He along with his wife Macrina and Bertha Moore are accused of smuggling into Guam large amounts of crystal methamphetamine from the Philippines. Macrina is already on pre-trial release while Moore entered into a plea agreement with the feds. Tedtaotao argues that his case has continuously been delayed and therefore is requesting pre-trial release. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Tedtaotao is scheduled to appear in federal court on Wednesday on his motion for release.
