Guam - A 48 year old man was taken to Naval Hospital on Sunday night after sustaining injuries in a serious car crash. Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Lieutenant Ed Artero says units responded to a report of a car crashing into a power pole by the Onward Golf Resort in Talofofo just after nine o'clock Sunday evening.
Artero says medics transported the man to the Naval Hospital. He was conscious and alert en route. The crash is under investigation by police. The crash is near the same area on Route 4 where a woman crashed into a concrete pole and had to be extracted from her car.
Residents and business owners have been complaining about the unsafe conditions of this particular stretch of road.
