Guam - Police arrested three men following a late night high speed chase that began in Mangilao and ended in Yigo. Hagatna Precinct officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Mangilao area. GPD Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says officers located the vehicle and attempted to make a check of the driver but the vehicle fled and engaged police in a hot pursuit.
Toward the end of the chase, Balajadia says the vehicle was driven with a flat tire. The pursuit ended when the driver rammed his car into a patrol car. Police arrested Jesse Jay San Agustin, 27, of Yigo, Daniel Thomas Sanchez, 24 of Dededo, and Shawn Michael Rosario, 31 of Dededo on a slew of charges including theft of a motor vehicle, theft of property, possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, destruction of evidence, resisting arrest, burglary, and guilt established by complicity, just to name a few.
The three are being held behind bars awaiting a magistrate's hearing.
