Guam - The new board of directors at the Guam Visitors Bureau announced Karl Pangelinan as their selection as the agency's new general manager. He replaces Joann Camacho, who resigned to pursue a career in the private sector.

Pangelinan told KUAM News, "I'm looking forward to a lot of the potential down there at GVB. Marketing is actually in my DNA. With my private sector experience, I have a lot of sales and marketing and product development product management experience so I get to bring that to the table. It's a very dynamic industry, and is something I look forward to working with."

Pangelinan is currently serving as the administrator at the Guam Economic Development Authority. He is scheduled to start his new job as GVB general manager Tuesday the 22nd.
