Guam - The Guam Community college reports enrollment numbers for fall semester dropped by just less than one percent compared to last year. Fall 2011 recorded an all time high of 2,556 students and this semester that number is only ten students short totaling 2,546. These numbers include 906 new freshmen. GCC President Dr. Mary Okada states, "We feel that with the addition of our new and updated facilities and programs, and our successful reaffirmation of accreditation this summer, we are providing them with an institution they can be proud to attend."
The top enrolled programs at the College are Allied Health (Pre-Nursing, Practical Nursing, and Medical Assisting), Education and Early Childhood Education, and Criminal Justice.
