Guam - Vandals make their comeback hitting two Dededo schools this week. Finegayan Elementary School principal Evangeline Iglesias says custodians discovered her school's office was ransacked Thursday morning and two laptops and a multi-media projector stolen.
"I would like to ask the communities of all the schools we have on island be more vigilant and more aware of their schools and their surroundings in that area," she said, "because normally even from what the staff is seeing it's probably from people in our area. It's easy access jumping over the fence and such but as far as parents, if they can help us out if they can help the schools especially Finegayan Elementary School, that would be great."
Vicente Benavente Middle School also reported a breakin Tuesday morning. Despite an alarm system and surveillance cameras, principal Dexter Fullo says vandals managed to strip two of the library's computers for parts.
Fullo says his school may need to look into foot security until vandals are caught.
