Guam - The new head of the Guam Memorial Hospital arrives tomorrow and starts his first day on the job Thursday.  Joseph Verga comes to Guam from Canada where he served as President and CEO of Canadian Medical Placement in London Ontario. He is also an expert consultant for the Joint Commission. According to his three year contract, he will receive an annual salary plus benefits of 284-thousand dollars. Verga tells KUAM that he will spend his first day touring GMH and meeting with staff. He indicates that he will a complete operational review of the hospital from top to bottom for cost effectiveness and efficiency.
