Guam - Michael Montgomery appeared in the District Court today admitting that he failed to register as a sex offender.  Montgomery was convicted in 2008 of incest, sexual assault, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and unlawful sexual contact in Larimer County, Colorado.  He was sentenced to 6 years probation and ordered to attend an intensive sex offender treatment.

Colorado authorities learned that Montgomery fled the state and moved to Guam where he was not listed as a sex offender.  U.S. Marshals found him in June living at the Palmridge Inn in Barrigada where he had been staying for the last five months and had never registered on Guam's Sex Offender Registry.

Montgomery pleaded guilty today and was remanded to the custody of U.S. Marshals.  He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 4.
