Guam - Christopher Gebhart pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender. Gebhart remains in the custody of U.S. Marshals while he awaits further court proceedings in the Superior Court of Guam, where he is charged with the death of a 1-year-old girl who he allegedly abused so badly that she went into a coma and later died.

The charges in the case were initially thrown out but new charges were recently handed down. Gebhart meanwhile is scheduled to be sentenced in connection with the federal case on September 26.
