Guam qualifies for USEPA trash initiative

Guam - The Guam Environmental Protection Agency is looking to the community for innovative project proposals to reduce land-based trash at the source. According to GEPA spokesperson Tammy Jo Anderson Taft, Guam is among coastal areas of California, Hawaii, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and various U.S.-recognized Indian tribal governments who qualify to receive part of $280,000 in USEPA for the initiative.
