Guam - If you didn't catch the public scoping meetings on the proposed Marines live fire training range complex held these past few days, there's still time to provide your input. Although attendance wasn't great, Military Buildup Chair Senator Judi Guthertz says she was able to meet and ask questions to several of the presenters and believes it was a good start before the public comment period ends on April 6.

"It was very informative, very helpful, this approach they're using this time is a little different from before, this seems to be more sensitivity to the issues the community at large has had in the past with reference to the environment and other questions," she said.

She believes residents may not have turned out in great numbers because they are ultimately waiting for the Draft SEIS to be released that will have more specific details.
