Guam - Four people have been arrested in connection with the assault of an 18-year-old man who is fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit at the Guam Memorial Hospital. The teen was found badly beaten at Von's Chicken in Harmon early Sunday morning. The victim sustained injuries to his face and head and underwent emergency surgery this morning after he was left in a coma from the beating.
Acting GPD Spokesperson Sgt. Mike Aguon says police learned that the victim was involved In a disturbance with several other individuals. Police arrested 20-year-old Daniel Alan Rosal of Dededo and Michael Gregory Rosal, Jr. of Harmon around 5am Sunday, and several hours later police arrested Christian Joseph Lastimoza, 20 of Mangilao. Sunday afternoon police arrested a fourth suspect, 21-year-old William San Nicolas, Jr. All four were charged with aggravated assault, rioting, guilt established by complicity, conspiracy to commit assault and guilt established by complicity.
Michael Rosal, Jr. also faces additional charges of use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony and jurisdiction over an adult. Police have not released details of the incident, but all four men have been placed behind bars and are expected to be magistrated in the Superior Court on Monday or Tuesday.
The victim meanwhile remains in critical condition.
