Cops cleaning up Tamuning-Tumon Precinct
by Nick Delgado
Guam - Thanks to donations from various businesses, police were able to give the Frankie E. Smith Police Station a much-needed facelift. GPD's Beach Patrol officers were waterblasting the precinct and repainting the building.
Police Chief Fred Bordallo says the project didn't cost the department a single penny and is much more aesthetically pleasing for tourists. "Tamuning-Tumon is in the heart of the tourist district, a lot of tourists come here and we want to make sure its part of the beatification which Governor Calvo and Lt. Governor Tenorio are supporting, we are part of this beautification," the chief said.
Benson, Pestex, Pacific Tire, Guam Home Center and MCV provided donations to make today's cleanup possible.
