Guam - With parole authority approved, the Guam Visitors Bureau is teaming with the Marianas Visitors Authority in the CNMI to start the marketing plan for Russian visitors. The plan focuses on the eastern region of the country, including the cities of Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Yakutsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

A list of people on island possessing knowledge of speaking, reading, and writing in Russian is being established in order to provide translation services. According to GVB director Joann Camacho, Russian visitors will influence our tourism market because they make longer stays in places they visit.
