Guam - Blackberry users, take note of the sharp-looking, dual mode phone with a good camera and offering 720p HD video playback. IT&E's Allan Benavente said, "It's our newest and latest addition to our Blackberry full-on touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, 1.2 gigahertz processor and 3.5 high resolution screen."

In terms of looks, the Torch 9850 is the maverick of the Blackberry family, and that's no bad thing. While the most recent crop of Blackberries feature squarer corners, this full-screen Torch 9850 embraces sharp angles, with top and bottom edges pointed. It's one of the sexier Blackberry designs, and despite those sharp tips, the Torch 9850 is comfortable in the hand and on the ear. This torch has the largest Blackberry touch screen to date, at 3.7".

"You can put your Yahoo Email, Google, Facebook, BB Messenger, YouTube features, it also has certain types of music like podcast, Slacker Radio," Benavente explained. "It supports CDMA and GSM; you can take it off-island with you, if you don't want to be roaming you can use the SIM slot."

At the top of the Torch is the lock button. Beneath the screen, five raised hardware buttons correspond to the dialer, the menu, the back, and the power/end buttons. The center select button doubles as an optical trackpad for navigating the screen without smudging it up. "You can pick up the Blackberry Torch 9850 here at IT&E on a two-year contract for $299, you can set up any voice plan or data plan which is $39.95. For voice, you can choose whichever voice plan you want - there are four different voice plans," he said.

It can keep you very well connected - in business and personal affairs, Blackberry keeps. And Christmas gift shoppers be warned - you have less than a week to finish all your Christmas shopping so head over to any of IT&E locations on Guam and make it a great Christmas!
