Guam - After allegedly punching a fellow officer while off-duty, Guam Customs and Quarantine confirms 29-year-old Peter Quintanilla no longer has a job. Quintanilla was arrested last month after confronting a fellow officer regarding a conversation with his girlfriend. He allegedly punched his co-worker in the head causing him to fall and then kicked him several times in the face.
Customs spokesperson Lt. Ferdinand Soriano says Quintanilla was dismissed from the agency on October 25. "As far as conduct unbecoming, Chief [Ralph] Sgambelluri is very cognizant of our officer actions both on- and off-duty and any behavior contrary to departmental policy will not be tolerated," he said.
Quintanilla faces charges of two counts of assault as a misdemeanor.
