Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo declared this week Careers and Construction Week, recognizing the men and women who help develop growth and career opportunities on Guam. Throughout the week, the Guam Contractor's Association, the GCA Trades Academy, GCC, the Department of Labor and the Mayor's Council of Guam will be educating the community on the importance of the construction industry and the many employment opportunities available. 

Governor Calvo also proclaimed November 4 as Guam Veteran's Arts Day. A creative art showcase will be displayed throughout this weekend to allow veteran's to interact with the community.
