Guam - As they continue to investigate complaints about February's election of officers for the Guam Federation of Teachers union, today the U.S. Department of Labor counted ballots from JFK and Ordot-Chalan Pago. GFT president Matt Rector says while he couldn't disclose specific numbers, the count showed he beat his opponent, Carol Sommerfleck, who called for the investigation.

The federal government has until November 4 to file a lawsuit on the election complaints if they decide to do so.
