Woman critical after being struck by car in Tamuning

Guam - An 18-year-old woman is in critical condition at the Guam Memorial Hospital after she was struck by the driver of a Toyota Yaris in Tamuning on Tuesday night.  Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Lieutenant Ed Artero says emergency personnel responded to the scene just before eleven o'clock last night and transported the woman to the hospital where she was treated for head injuries and fractured ribs.

The Guam Police Department's Highway Patrol Division is investigating the incident.
