United Continental "never compromises on safety"
Guam - In light of five emergency landings within the past month, Asia Pacific United Continental Airlines director of corporate communications Koji Nagata says the airlines never compromises on safety, and treats any issue aboard their aircraft seriously. Nagata in a written statement added their pilots never hesitate to declare an emergency, when the situation warrants.
Typically a declaration is precautionary in nature, as was true in the most recent incident involving a possible problem with a continental aircraft's nose-gear. As we reported the 5th emergency declaration involved a plane arriving from Hawaii that landed safely.
