Guam - University of Guam pre-engineering students can now apply for a Parsons Scholarship for the fall 2011 semester. Scholarships are worth up to $3,750 each and are thanks to a $15,000 donation from construction and engineering firm Parsons.
Students must have completed ES201 Engineering Statistics, be a resident of Guam or the region, and must submit the following documents to be eligible: Application form, a one-page personal statement about yourself and your academic goals (to include why you are pursuing a degree in engineering), and a copy of official transcripts. Deadline for submission is October 14th at 5 pm at the Financial Aid Office located in the UOG Field House.
Scholarships are based on academic performance and financial need and will be awarded in October.
