Guam - At Froots you can indulge your appetite and your palate while keeping your commitment to staying healthy. From their wraps, salads and grillers to their yummy shakes and smoothies, all are made fresh.
Christine Baleto is the owner for both locations (Agana Shopping Center and GPO) and master franchise owner, and tells KUAM News, "The first store opened in March of 2009."
With such a great response from the island, Baleto decided to open up a second store located in the Guam Premier Outlets last May. She says the reaction has been "very positive - some people told me that Guam wasn't ready…but they loved the product at Froots."
Froots has a delectable menu, and although I'm partial to the chic Feelin' Blue Griller and My Orange Dream Shake, Baleto says everyone has their favorites, with some being more popular than others.
She says that as far as the salads, hands down the Caesar is the most popular. But what about the shakes and smoothies? "It's our Tropical Tucan, and coming in second at both locations is the Pina Colada - a lot of people like that one as well."
The neat thing about the shakes and smoothies is that Froots offers blends that you can mix in- from antioxidants, Fat Burner, energy, it is a great pick me up, and the first blend one is free!
And like many of the businesses here on Guam, Froots has signed on to the Hafa Adai Pledge, which is the GVB "We Are Guam' initiative. Baleto says as a way to commemorate the Hafa Adai spirit, they specifically created a smoothie and griller for Guam.
The special items have received positive feedback from customers and it's only on available on Guam - Baleto explaining she had to go to the franchise and get it approved.
