Guam - The 2011 Guam Buddha Birthday Community Festival is this Sunday and according to Buddisht Light International Association members Richard Huang and Yen Ou, it's a festival for a cause.
Huang told KUAM News, "Everybody is welcome to come regardless of religion we're here just to everybody can come to our temple and learn about our culture and just have fun with east food and enjoy the performances. We'll donate all the proceeds to the Japan Club of Guam, then they'll donate it to the victims of Japan disaster. Ou added, "We'll be selling $1 tickets there will be multicultural food lot of family fun we'll have activities for the kids as well as we set up a drawing room, some giveaways just expect a lot of family fun and performances."
The Festival is being held at the Fo Guang Shan Guam Temple in Barrigada and starts with a prayer service for the victims of the disasters in Japan at 10 in the morning with the actual food fair and performances starting at 11.
