Danny McBride and James Franco team up once again in the hilarious medieval comedy "Your Highness". Thadeous (Danny McBride) and Fabious (James Franco) are two princes who are total opposites. Fabious is loved by the kingdom, for his conquests and victories on various quests. Thadeous on the other hand, spends most of his days in the fields smoking weed and trying to pick up country girls. When Fabious' bride-to-be is captured by the wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux), the two princes embark on a quest to get her back.
Fair warning -- "Your Highness" has no shame nor does it have any class. The film tosses out crude joke after crude joke from beginning to end. I don't know if that lives up to your tastes, but it sure does live up to mine! There is more than a fair share of cursing, nudity, and drug abuse to quench even the most diabolic of thirsts. Granted, this film isn't going to win any Academy Awards but if you enjoy this kind of comedy, you will find it much better than the average drivel that is brought to theatres.
The actors have a lot of fun with their roles and the film will have you chuckling for its entire 1 hour and 42 minute run. With a cast that includes Natalie Portman and Zooey Deschanel, "Your Highness" is a funny ride worthy of its price of admission.
