Basic Shrimp Kelaguen
- Donne- optional
- Onions- chopped (1/2 cup)
- Green onions- chopped (1/2 cup)
- Coconut- grated (1/2 cup)
- Shrimp- raw, cleaned, de-shelled, and chopped (1/2 lb)
- Local lemon juice- squeezed (2)
Salt to taste. In bowl add shrimp, lemon, onions, green onions and lemon juice. Combine ingredients. If you like, you can put in the fridge to allow the shrimp to marinate in mixture. Taste to see if salt is needed. For the final touch, add the fresh grated coconut.
Top with simple garnish. You can place it in the fridge or eat right away
